A cantilever over a hundred-metre drop
Four bedrooms in travertine and bronze, set back far enough from the edge to survive the weather and close enough to feel it. The upper floor projects clear of the cliff, so the sea sits under the living room rather than beyond it.
Twenty-five storeys on a protected beachfront
Stacked balconies climb the seaward face, every apartment turned to catch the last hour of light. The podium keeps the dune line intact — the building starts where the sand stops, and not a metre sooner.
A manor house brought back over four years
Stone repointed by hand, the lake dredged back to its original line, and a new wing set low enough that the house still reads as one building. Nothing was added that could not be justified from the water.
A beachfront house set into its own planting
Terraces step down through mature palm and frangipani until the lawn simply becomes sand. The planting was surveyed before the house was drawn, so not one established tree came out to make room for it.
